Terms of service
Last updated
These terms are the agreement between you and Deliberate Pty Ltd ("we"), the Australian company that runs CitableReport, for using this site. By scanning a website or buying a report you agree to them.
What is the service?
CitableReport reads public pages of a website you name and produces a report: a score, the results of 40 checks, and suggested changes. A preview is free. The full report for one website costs US$9, charged once, plus any tax that applies where you are.
What does buying a report include?
- The full report for the website scanned, at a private link emailed to you, usually within 10 minutes of payment.
- One post-fix report: a repeat scan of the same pages, which you can start once within 60 days of payment.
There is no subscription and nothing renews. Each report covers one website as it was when scanned.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If your report did not work, or it is not what this site led you to expect, write to team@citablereport.com within 14 days of paying and we will refund you. A refunded report is closed. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or your own country's consumer law.
What does the report not promise?
The report does not promise that AI assistants will cite your site. It measures signals associated with being cited, using fixed rules applied to the pages we could read. How AI systems choose sources is not public and changes over time. The checks can be wrong about a particular page, and the report shows its evidence so you can judge. The report is information to help you decide what to do; it is not professional advice.
What may I scan?
You may scan any public website. You do not have to own it. You must not use CitableReport to overload a site, to get round a site's access controls, or to break the law, and you must not run scans by automated means or resell access without our agreement. We limit free scans and may refuse or cancel scans that look like abuse.
Who owns what?
The site, its design, its text and its method belong to us. Your report is yours to use, share and act on within your organisation and with people working for you. The websites scanned, and their content, belong to their owners.
What if something goes wrong?
We take care to make the service reliable and the reports accurate, but we provide it as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that follow from relying on a report, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for the report in question. This does not exclude any guarantee that cannot be excluded by law.
What about privacy?
What we collect and how we use it is set out in our privacy policy.
Can these terms change?
We may update these terms, and will change the date at the top when we do. The terms that apply to a report are the ones in place when you bought it.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Questions go to team@citablereport.com.
